As part of BHW's media advocacy, it has introduced a tab on its website called "Citizens' Voice". This tab provides citizens an opportunity to share their feedback and opinion on health care and drop questions related to health. Through this online platform, BHW works as a bridge and shares public concerns with the authorities concerned. This platform is aligned with one of our core values, 'Voice'.
On this platform, citizens can get the answer easily by dropping their questions while maintaining their anonymity. BHW addresses health-related questions in direct consultation with the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). The DGHS-designated person provides us with answers. Answers reach out to citizens within 72 hours.
Bangladesh Health Watch has collaborated with 333, a national helpline for citizens’ better access to information. 333 is also a part of a2i (Aspire to innovation), a special programme of the government’s Digital Bangladesh agenda, supported by ICT division and the Cabinet Division supported by UNDP. During the COVID-19 period, collaboration was made to gather more questions and queries from the common citizen about vaccination and also to advocate government for more vaccination drives. The collaboration became very fruitful as both parties get enough queries, questions, and opinions.
Write your opinion, questions, confusions regarding the health system to us in Citizen's Voice and get your voice heard.
