Meeting of District Health Rights Forum (DHRF) was conducted on 7 October 2021 at Dhansiri Training Center in Bagerhat. Members including President, Vice-Presidents and the representative of Rupantar and Bangladesh Health Watch attended the meeting. Advocate Md. Shah Alam Tuku, President, DHRF welcomed everyone and shared the meeting objectives. Mr. Shashanka Baran Roy, Coordinator, Field Operation of Bangladesh Health Watch (BHW) discussed on the strategy, activities, and future program of BHW.

 Through a participatory discussion the forum decided to arrange two meetings at Sharankhola Upazila and Rayenda Union on 23 October 2021. Upazila and Union committees of Health Rights Forum and Health Rights Youth Forum will be formed there, and the new members will be orientated in the planned meeting. President and Vice-President take the responsibility to organize the meetings. Forum members also discussed that the DHRF will be engaged in different research works and will try to find out the achievement, challenges, and way forwards to make healthcare systems more responsive and participatory through survey and consultative meetings with health service providers. The forum also decided to collect the information regarding Human Resources of the government health service of Bagerhat.
